Our Process
Pre-Construction
The pre-construction phase begins with your project concept and develops that concept into a fully defined project scope with a detailed plan-set and finish schedule (what we call our Build Book) through a collaborative effort with your input and revisions. At the completion of the pre-construction phase, nearly every facet of your project has been planned for, material has been sourced and priced, and a detailed construction quote and schedule is delivered.
We tailor the pre-construction phase to fit your projects’ needs, and are more than happy to work with your designer and/or architect if you have one.
For most remodel/addition projects, the pre-construction phase typically takes 30 – 60 days.
For new construction projects, the pre-construction phase typically takes 60 – 90 days.
Upon completion of our pre-construction phase, your project is ready to submit to the appropriate authority for zoning and/or permit approval.
Construction
When we begin a client’s project, we do our best to dedicate ourselves to that project until its completion. We self-perform most of the work, only utilizing sub-contractors for specialty trades. This approach helps us control quality and enables us to offer more aggressive timelines than other contractors and builders. It also enables us to remain incredibly flexible and adjust quickly to any changes our clients may wish to make during the project.
